                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Dennis is the bassist and LEADER of the music group that he

                                                                    founded 33 years ago, Machaira. While leading Machaira this lead

                                                                    to working with many great players: Marc Russo, John McFee and

                                                                    Michael Hossack from The Doobie Brothers, Mic Gillette from

                                                                    Tower Of  Power,  Brent Bourgeois from Bourgeois Tagg, Scott Joss

                                                                    from Merle Haggard, and Keith Edwards from Ricky Skaggs, and

                                                                    Billy Kirchen from Commander Cody.  Machaira has released

                                                                      Coop's career as  vocalist, guitarist, record producer, educator, 

                                                                      and author taken him around the world, in over 65 countries.   

                                                                      He has performed with Joe Walsh, Steve Howe (Yes), guitar

                                                                      master Danny Gatton, Les Paul, Rhonda Smith ( Jeff Beck,

                                                                      Prince) Kat Dyson, Carmine Appice, Alphonso Johnson,

                                                                      Tower of  Power, James Cotton, Elvin Bishop, Pat Travers, 

                                                                      Tommy Emmanuel, Don Potter,  Jennifer Batten and others.

                                                                         

                                                                         Coop has released  7 solo records & 8 Guitar Instructional books

                                                                         & CDs. His “Blues Jam Along” & “Hard Rock Jam Along" books

    have been published by Music Sales /Amsco publishing  and sold worldwide.   Early on at age 21, Coop          was awarded a quarter finalist award in the American Song Festival; in 1994 he won 1st place in the

    Hot Guitarist Contest at the NAMM show in Anaheim, CA.
